Black and white photograph of a man seated in the doorway under the circular vestibule hole in the Treasury (Khasneh) at Wadi Musa, Petra, Jordan, between 1900 and 1920. This amazing feature rests above a doorway with cornice, lintel and supporting pilasters and leads to a large chamber and rooms. It is thought that maybe this hole was used for the people that carved out the inside. They would crawl in and out of it.
