Stock photography of a 1913 E. Leitz-Wetzlar microscope that Dr. Mountin used in medical school and early in his career as a physician. Dr. Mountin’s grandson, Daniel Joseph Mountin, Jr., donated the microscope saying, "Since I know you have an exhibit honoring my grandfather’s legacy, I felt the microscope belonged there, at the CDC Museum, rather than in a storage closet in my house." This artifact can be seen at the Global Health Odyssey. This image was created in 2004 and provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/Global Health Odyssey, Judy Gantt, Mary Hilpertshauser/James Gathany. [0004-0702-2023-3714] by 0004
