Stock photography of a 1913 E. Leitz-Wetzlar microscope that Dr. Mountin used in medical school and early in his career as a physician.
Dr. Mountin’s grandson, Daniel Joseph Mountin, Jr., donated the microscope saying, "Since I know you have an exhibit honoring my grandfather’s legacy, I felt the microscope belonged there, at the CDC Museum, rather than in a storage closet in my house." This artifact can be seen at the Global Health Odyssey.
