Image of U.S. Navy Quartermaster Seaman Kurtis Rodgers using a sextant to shoot a line of position towards the sun to verify the position of USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) March 19th 2007, while under way in the Arabian Sea. The John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations.
